Ye Olde Cycle Barn was founded in 1964 by Larue "Sonny" Sones, who opened it as a Suzuki and BSA motorcycle dealership on Route 220 in Hughesville. In 1984 Sonny's son Mark took over the dealership, adding KTM in 1985. In 1987, the business was moved to its present location on Route 405, the Hughesville-Muncy Highway. The facility was previously a roller skating rink called Falls Hall and later renamed Country Skate Land. The hardwood skating floor was resurfaced and is the centerpiece of the display area today. Bob McCormick and his son Brian purchased the dealership in 1997. They added Arctic Cat four wheelers and snowmobiles, as well as Yamaha snowmobiles. Factory-trained technicians offer service on every make and model that Ye Olde Cycle Barn sells, as well as those we don't sell. Ye Olde Cycle Barn does custom lettering, sells stickers, and offers a variety of clothing and accessories to satisfy the needs of all hobbyists. In addition, we offer approved safety courses for four-wheelers and all-terrain vehicles. Technological advances in the past decade have helped make all the vehicles sold at the Ye Olde Cycle Barn lighter, more efficient, and more reliable. The vehicles start more easily and require less maintenance. Browsing customers won't be intimidated at Ye Olde Cycle Barn. The dealership doesn't mind customers who are "just looking." Our sales people are happy to provide them with prices and any other information. We at Ye Olde Cycle Barn pride ourselves in great customer service.
